Solution To Fix YouTube Audio

I use Youtube for work and fun. So losing the audio was a toughie.

My Laptop Spec:

Sony Vaio VGN-FS415E

Windows XP Pro SP 3

Annoyed, hell yes I was.

Anywas after seraching loads, I found some postings which said to download and run K Lite Codecbut this did not work for me.This is a free download and you don’t have to pay for anything, no trial period or anything like that.

I put this here because it woks for some people, it just didn’t work for m that’s all.

So many days went by, then I I had some problems with my laptop. I downloaded and run CCleaner

Using Analyze,  when that was complete

I pressed the Run Cleaner button as shown in the image below:

Secondly I ran Regisry tool. I pressed the scan issues buttons.

When that was complete, I selected the Fix selected issues that were found. On the image here, this button is greyed out but you can see it clearly.

I went to YouTube and played the first video my mouse hovered over and SUCCESS!!! Audio was back and video was playing good.

Anyways that’s how I solved my problem, hope it helps you.
